The AVOX Systems Pressur-Vak II® mask controls administration of oxygen or gas mixtures without affecting the chamber environment by exhausting the exhaled gas out of the chamber.
Breathing gas supply should be reduced to approximately 65-125 psig above ambient. The reduced low pressure gas flows through the demand hose to the demand regulator. The exhaled gas is removed through the exhaust regulator and hose to the outside of the chamber.
